The Insurance Knowledge Manager will help drive, develop and facilitate knowledge sharing across the business (developing content management tools, cultivating human networks and informal knowledge transfer, practice focused research and analysis to support IC generation and advisory services). The aim of the Knowledge Manager is to maintain knowledge tools and help develop/promote tools and processes which increase information flow and best practice sharing within the Insurance practice and across Oliver Wyman.
This position is located in Mexico City but the role has global responsibility – supporting the global Insurance practice and associated interest groups within the Oliver Wyman community.
Stakeholder management is a critical aspect of this role and a high level of proactive direct interaction is expected with the Insurance practice leadership. An important aspect of the role will be to build excellent working relationships with the key practice figures globally.

Act as facilitator in the transfer of intellectual capital across the Insurance practice and Oliver Wyman
Serve as a key resource to Partners to help them be commercially successful and project teams to be impactful with their clients
Coordinate and manage the capture, classification, storage and sharing of Oliver Wyman’s knowledge base within the insurance practice
Work closely with, mentor and coach more junior members of the Insurance Knowledge Management team
Help curate and develop key knowledge products including, qualifications, frameworks and learning materials, for example
Manage the Insurance knowledge site on the Knowledge Management platform to ensure the newest and best-of content and projects are showcased, remove outdated materials proactively and identify content gaps
Identify leading Oliver Wyman experts in key topic areas for the insurance practice
Work closely with other Knowledge Managers and the business area leaders to identify cross-practice content priorities, promote IC sharing behaviors, identify blockages, suggest improvements, develop content priorities and plan for annual practice meetings and overall communications
Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years’ experience in Knowledge Management and/or the Insurance sector (ideal candidate would have both)
MLS and/or accredited Knowledge Management qualification a plus
English fluency REQUIRED
